Sacramento

The Bob Beverly Sacramento Legislative Intern Scholar Program offers qualified college students the opportunity to work full-time in California’s capital. Named in honor of former State Senator Bob Beverly, this prestigious program allows students to actively observe the legislative process while participating in the administrative operations of a state elected official’s office.

This summer internship, offered from June to August (8 weeks) in Sacramento, provides placements in the Governor’s office and the offices of San Joaquin Valley legislative leaders from both sides of the aisle. Maddy Interns assist with legislative research, attend hearings, draft communications, and closely observe the policymaking process.
