Held at the California Museum, The Maddy Institute’s Annual Sacramento Reception is a signature fundraising event supporting the Institute’s leadership opportunities, including the Bob Beverly Sacramento Legislative Internship Program. Funds raised support paid internships for Central Valley students, helping them develop the skills, experience, and connections needed to pursue meaningful careers in public service.

The event brings together former and current state leaders, university partners, Maddy alumni and interns, and friends of the Institute to honor Senator Ken Maddy’s legacy and highlight the importance of collaborative leadership and continued investment in the Central Valley’s future leaders.
