Join The Maddy Institute in celebrating the impact of our Legislative Internship Programs and the achievements of our alumni at this signature fundraising reception. Held at the California Museum, this event connects the San Joaquin Valley to the heart of California’s policymakers in Sacramento by bringing together state leaders, policymakers, and advocates who share a commitment to bipartisan collaboration and Senator Ken Maddy’s values of approachability, respect, and trustworthy reputation.

Funds raised support our leadership programs, including the Bob Beverly Sacramento Legislative Intern Scholarship, to empower Valley students to gain hands-on experience through paid internships at the State Capitol, fostering the next generation of civic leaders.

This year, we proudly celebrate our 25th Anniversary by presenting our Legacy Award to The Honorable Chuck Poochigian for his instrumental role in the creation of our organization and lifelong dedication to public service.
